ADRIAN BRETT
Adrian trained at the Harkness Studio
for Speech and Drama in Sydney, Australia. Toured Europe as an actor with Dionysia
Theatre. Co-founded the Rose Theatre Company, with whom he worked as an actor,
director and writer until 1995. Performed with Portal Productions, Mask Studio
and Circle-X Arts and Taurusvoice, of which he is a founding member. Has particular
skills as a composer and musician and has created, directed and performed the
music for many theatre productions. Teaches and directs with Taurusvoice Training
Theatre.
ELEANOR HOLLIDAY
Eleanor has trained with Taurusvoice
Training Theatre and completed a B.A. in English at the University of Sussex
and an M.A. in contemporary theatre practise at Essex University. Professional
performance work includes ‘Flight of the Lemurs’ (which she also wrote), ‘The
Laughing Nude’, ‘Mithras’ (Project Theatre), ‘The Gospel of St John’ (Taurusvoice)
and ‘Antigone’ (Taurusvoice/Glasshouse Productions). She also runs ‘Zinging’
a youth choir in Stroud with Adrian Brett.
ADRIAN LOCHER
Adrian trained at the London School
of Speech and Drama. Has performed with Portal Productions (Rudolf Steiner’s
four mystery dramas), The Rose Theatre Company and Taurusvoice of which he is
a founding member. Has also worked as a producer and teacher, specialising in
speech. Teaches and directs with Taurusvoice Training Theatre.
PENELOPE WILDGOOSE
Penelope trained at Dartington college of Arts and at the London School of Speech.
Previous productions include; Tales from Ovid and The Good Doctor (Taurusvoice
Training Theatre) and the title role in Antigone, (Taurusvoice/Glasshouse Productions).
She has also worked with youth theatre, including Jigsaw Youth Theatre in Dudley
and directed two one- person shows in Stroud.
MICHAEL CHASE—DIRECTOR
Founded The Mask Studio in 1995. He studied with Ida Bagus Alit in Bali, and
Denato Sartori. His actor training includes John Wright, Jacques LeCoq, Carlo
Mezzoni-Clementi and Yoshi Oida. Michael has acted in companies including The
Unfortunati, Trestle Theatre Company and The Rose. He conducted the mask work
and physical theatre for Arts Educational Drama Department for ten years and
has taught mask work in theatre, education and therapy for institutions and
privately world-wide. He has directed theatre productions for over 15 years
and regularly contributes on international conferences and seminars. He is currently
the artistic director of The Glasshouse Theatre. Most recent plays have included
‘The Gospel of St. John’ in 2001, ‘Oedipus’ 2002, ‘Antigone’ 2003 and ‘Fish’
2004.
